SEXUAL HARASSMENT IN DELTA STATE UNIVERSITY
The governing council of the Delta State University, Abraka, has approved the sack of six lecturers in the school after they were found guilty to have solicited for sexual favors from their students. They were relieved following the recommendations by a disciplinary committee set up to investigate the allegations leveled against them.
The affected lecturers, according to report in return for high marks during examinations ask for sexual favor.
The lecturers are also accused of engaging in examination malpractice, leaking of examination question papers and other sharp practices.
